Bio

Sujoy Basu joined HP Labs in 2000 after receiving his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also holds Master and Bachelor degrees in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and Indian Instiute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur respectively. At HP Labs, he has worked on processor and system architecture, content distribution networks, grid and utility computing and overlay networks. The current focus of his work is on resource and service discovery for overlay networks and grids. He is also interested in fault and performance management for applications deployed using service-oriented architecture. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of ACM. He has been awarded 7 patents, and has several more pending.
